energy-saving construction techniques, upgraded insulation
levels, energy efficient appliances, improved air distribution
for your heating and cooling systems, thermally improved

will enjoy savings on your monthly utility bills. You may
qualify for a larger home, add more options and upgrades,
or simply enjoy easier loan qualification. And, by buying
an Energy Advantage PLUS home, you may qualify for a special
PLUS mortgage.
The Equal Housing Opportunity Council is the only private, not-for-profit
fair housing enforcement agency working to end illegal housing discrimination.
The EHOC fights illegal housing discrimination through: education on fair
housing laws for housing providers (lenders, landlords, real estate agents
and insurance agents), local governmental bodies (those who should be concerned
about the affects of discrimination on their communities) and the general
public (especially those who are most likely to experience illegal discrimination);
and enforcement actions against those who we find, through our investigations,
discriminate illegally; and community outreach, by participating in grass-roots
and community-based projects; working with academics, civil rights leaders,
and the housing industry; and spreading the word about our services and message
through public service announcements, press releases, and distribution of
material. EHOC takes calls from individuals who believe they may have been
discriminated against while trying to buy a home, rent an apartment, get
a mortgage or apply for home owners insurance or in the way they've been
treated by a landlord or an insurance agent while in their home. We investigate
your claim and help resolve your complaint.

With the typical 4" unreinforced floor slab, cracking, horizontal
and vertical separation are common problems. The addition of wire mesh
or rebar to the standard slab helps to minimize vertical movement, but
is only partially effective in limiting horizontal separation. The advanced
design of Techno-slab has a superior reinforcement grid that pulls and
holds the slab together. This virtually makes any cracks that occur during
the curing process disappear, and effectively prevents any future horizontal
or vertical movement from occurring. Techno-slab is engineered to tackle
problematic soils and is a unique system that is superior to anything else
on the market. |
